The
Most Worshipful United Grand Lodge Of Ancient,
Free and Accepted Masons of Democratic Republics
http://www.realtycom.net/gl/
Established November 21, 1997
by an expelled Virginia Mainstream Mason. On their web site you will find an
impressive list of “At-Site Members”, a copy of their “Charter” as well as an
online application. Even more fascinating is their view on Clandestine
Masonry.

You may also find the Grand
Lodge of Virginia’s official position on this group to be of interest.

Many of you are familiar with
the parent organization of this so-called Grand Lodge, the International F& AM
Masons & OES Inc, founded in 1950 by the late Dr. William V. Banks. They became
eminently recognized by their advertisements in newspapers soliciting “Recruit
Deputies”. One needed only to send an application with the appropriate fee to
the Detroit headquarters to become a Deputy. Deputies in turn recruit “members”
for the Grand Lodge for a nice fee.
Observe
that they proudly wear “fezzes” with the Square & Compasses & Skeleton Key in
the Symbolic Lodge and OES chapters.
Take notice of the peculiar
hierarchy of the organization as well as the interesting comments from the Grand
Master. Here’s an excerpt:
“If
you wish to run for Grand Master send your resumes in to the Supreme President,
Supreme Grand Master, National Grand Master, and me.”

General Grand Masonic Congress of

The brain child of Thornton
Jackson and John G. Jones, this body appears to function similar to the National
Grand Lodge. With grand Lodges operating in sixteen states and the District of
Columbia, they are one of the larger National Bogus Organizations in operation.
Points of interest is a letter from John G. Jones to H.T. Broadus written in
1912 and a message from their current President (see an except below):
“As we are about to embark
upon a new millennium, as Free-Masons, we find our work yet undone. Masons are
still divided according to how many letters follow their name. We employ such
useless phrases as healing; a term coined by separatists enjoying walking in the
toilets of their minds. We
stymie the growth of our
organization by wallowing in the “essence” of ignorance, ie. not the lack of
knowledge-the rejection of knowledge.”
Brothers and Sisters, to the
casual visitor these so-called Masons appear to be as regular as any Grand Lodge
of which you are familiar. However, do not be fooled by appearances, a
rudimentary search of their pedigrees will prove them to be spurious in origin.
I hope you have enjoyed this
premiere issue and that you come away with a greater knowledge of the various
organizations who are purporting to be Masonic on the world wide web.
Next issue will feature a
special gentleman from Texas who advertises that he will assist anyone who needs
to be chartered in the high or low houses! Stay tuned for this as well as
other bogus Masonic web sites.
Fraternally,
Bro. Emanuel J. Stanley M.P.S.
